What English do you need for daily life abroad?

Congratulations! I have the lease ready. It's a standard 12-month agreement starting on the first of next month. Let me walk you through the key terms.

Rent is $1,400 due on the first of each month. There's a five-day grace period. After that, a $50 late fee applies. Two bounced checks and we can start eviction proceedings.
