1. Using TalkBuddy
TalkBuddy is operated by WayJet LLC. By using the app or website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use TalkBuddy.
2. What TalkBuddy offers
TalkBuddy helps you practise English for everyday and travel situations. Features may include guided lessons, listening and speaking practice, pronunciation feedback, saved phrases, destination guides, and conversation practice. Features may change as we improve the product.
3. Your account and progress
You can use some parts of TalkBuddy without an account. An account lets you sync progress and use account-based features. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
4. Fair use
Please use TalkBuddy fairly. You must not:
- Use TalkBuddy to break the law, threaten others, or cause harm
- Submit abusive, deceptive, or rights-infringing content
- Pretend to be someone else or misuse another person's account
- Use automated methods to overload TalkBuddy or access it without permission
- Interfere with the service or try to bypass its safety and access controls
5. Learning content and important situations
Some lessons and replies may be prepared or adapted with automated tools. We review and improve the content, but a phrase, translation, pronunciation score, or reply can still be incomplete or wrong. TalkBuddy is a learning aid, not a professional interpreter. For emergencies, medical or legal matters, travel rules, and other important decisions, check an official or qualified source.
6. Purchases and paid features
Some features may require a paid plan or one-time purchase. The price and what is included are shown before you confirm. Purchases made through an app store are also subject to that store's terms. If a plan renews, you can manage or cancel it in the store or account where you bought it. Refunds follow the rules of the payment provider and applicable law.
7. Content and ownership
TalkBuddy's lessons, design, brand, and software belong to WayJet LLC or its licensors. You may use them for your own learning, but not copy or resell them as another product. Your personal learning progress and saved items remain yours, and you can export the data made available in Data Management.
8. Stopping use
You may stop using TalkBuddy or delete your account at any time. We may limit or suspend access if an account seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, harms other people, or puts the service at risk. Where practical, we will explain what happened and how to contact us.
9. Availability, responsibility, and changes
TalkBuddy may occasionally be unavailable, and we cannot promise that every feature or answer will always be error-free. To the extent allowed by law, WayJet LLC is not responsible for losses caused by relying on learning content as professional advice. We may update the service or these terms; if a change is important, we will give notice in the app, on the website, or by email before it takes effect where required.
