Yeah, it's in the basement. Take the elevator down to B1 and turn left. It's the second door on your right. You'll need your building key fob to get in.

These ones take quarters — a dollar seventy-five per wash and a dollar fifty to dry. There's a change machine down there too, but it only takes ones and fives. Pro tip: always keep a roll of quarters in your apartment.

Just go with normal and cold water for most stuff — that's what I do. Hot water for towels and sheets. Oh, and don't overload the machine or your clothes won't get clean. And make sure you clean out the lint trap in the dryer when you're done.

Oh, that's been sitting there for like an hour. At this point, you're totally fine to take it out and put it on the folding table. That's pretty standard around here — everyone knows not to leave their stuff sitting in the machine.

Ugh, that one's been acting up lately. Try giving the door a good push — sometimes it doesn't latch all the way and the safety sensor won't let it start. If that doesn't work, you'll need to report it to building management. Their number's on the poster by the door.

Technically the laundry room's open twenty-four seven, but most people try to finish up by ten. The washers aren't that loud, but the dryers can be pretty noisy and the people on this floor can hear them. If you have to do it late, just stick with the washer and hang-dry your stuff if you can. Nobody's gonna complain about a washer at eleven, but a dryer rattling at midnight — yeah, that's pushing it.
