How to communicate with schools in English?

💡 美国大学的 meal plan 是预付费的餐饮套餐，通常包含在住宿费中。每周有固定的 swipe 次数（刷卡次数）。不在meal plan上的学生可以现金或刷卡付。

Just swipe your student ID at the entrance and you are good to go! It is all-you-can-eat — we have a salad bar, a hot food station, a grill, a sandwich station, and a dessert area. Take as much as you like, but please do not take food out of the dining hall.

在入口刷一下学生证就行了！这里是自助餐——我们有沙拉吧、热菜区、烧烤区、三明治区和甜品区。想拿多少拿多少，但请不要把食物带出食堂。

💡 美国大学食堂的 no take-out 政策很普遍——你可以在里面随便吃，但不能打包带走。这是因为 meal plan 按次计费，不按量计费。

Today we have roasted chicken, beef stew, and a vegetable stir-fry. The chicken and stir-fry are both pork-free. All our dishes are labeled with allergen info and dietary symbols — look for the green cards. The V means vegetarian, and the GF means gluten-free.

今天有烤鸡、炖牛肉和素炒蔬菜。烤鸡和素炒都不含猪肉。我们所有菜品都标注了过敏原信息和饮食标志——看绿色卡片。V 代表素食，GF 代表无麸质。
